Pronounced ‘foo-SHEE-co’, this playful Brazilian word describes a gathered fabric circle – but it also means ‘gossip’. Not idle talk, but the sharing of women’s stories, stitched with care and passed on with love.
This project is about connection – twelve stitched pages inspired by women’s voices from around the world.
Stories of Maidens, Mothers and Matriarchs, held gently in thread and cloth.
Bound together using the symbolic form of infinity.
